Richard Uzelac Fitness: Fatigue and Muscle and Joint Pain

Richard Uzelac about three years ago in Malibu Cal hike.

Passing fifty years old wasn’t that hard. I’ve always felt wonderful and in good physical shape, and keeping a high level of both cardiovascular and anaerobic conditioning. I’ve been ‘working out’ since the 7th grade so about 40 years now. All this helps me to stay young and alert to run GOiMarketing and RealtyTech Inc.

My workouts have evolved from wrestling all the way up to Penn State, to racing Moto-X, body building, power lifting and now mixed martial arts and the gym.

The only thing I seem to see that is changing is a higher level of fatigue or rather the recovery time from fatigue and the amount of prolonged Muscle and Joint pain that I am experiencing.

My current routine, which is quite truthfully not that routine, consists of Mixed Martial Arts training with Ultimate Performance and Fitness, workouts at the local gym and hiking with Alexandra. I also hit the RevGear heavy-bag in my back patio on occasion.

The most consistent workout is at the gym. I get there at 530am, do about 8 minutes of treadmill at around 6 or 8 speed on average with a 2.5 degree incline. Then I’ll do about 14 minutes on the stair master working my way up to about 10 speed.

After that I’ve been stretching, then abs, then a very short workout, the home. I love the gym and working out, but this new workout isn’t that much fun. I’m missing the amount of actual strength training I’m used to doing.

I’m also very very sore and fatigued.

So what is the issue? I take some supplements in the morning, a Testosterone natural supplement from GNC, Black T or something and Leukic from Muscle somebody. I feel better and have better workouts on these, but I feel sore the rest of the day.

Anyone else beside me experiencing this increased muscle pain with age?  Any ‘cures’ you’ve come across?

Cheers,

Richard Uzelac
